From the Summits
Standing at Concordia with K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums all around me — it was the most surreal moment of my life. The guides knew every crevasse, every camp. I felt completely safe despite the wild terrain.
Fairy Meadows was exactly that — a fairy tale. The view of Nanga Parbat at sunrise, with the meadow glowing gold, is something I'll carry with me forever. The local hospitality is extraordinarily warm.
The Biafo–Hispar traverse is one of the great glacier journeys on Earth. Twenty days of pure wilderness, ancient ice and silence broken only by the occasional thundering serac. Absolutely life-changing.
