Mountaineering
& Trekking
Conquer the Karakoram, Himalayas & Hindu Kush — where five of the world's highest peaks await the bold.
Where the Earth Touches the Sky
Gilgit Baltistan is home to the greatest concentration of high mountains on Earth. The Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindu Kush converge here, offering unparalleled adventure for climbers and trekkers from around the world.
K2 — the world's second-highest and most treacherous peak — rises from this very land. Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum, Broad Peak, and countless others promise journeys that test the human spirit and reward with beauty beyond imagination.
Whether you seek technical summits above 8,000 metres or multi-day treks through ancient glacial valleys, Gilgit Baltistan delivers experiences that will define a lifetime.
The Great Eight-Thousanders
K2
8,611 m — Savage Mountain
Known as the Savage Mountain, K2 is the world's second-highest peak and arguably the most dangerous. Only the most elite mountaineers dare its flanks.
Nanga Parbat
8,126 m — Killer Mountain
The ninth-highest mountain in the world, Nanga Parbat's Rupal and Diamir faces are among the most formidable walls on Earth. A legendary mountaineering challenge.
Gasherbrum I & II
8,080 m / 8,035 m
The "Beautiful Mountain" — twin giants standing side by side in the heart of Karakoram, offering technical routes for elite climbers.
Broad Peak
8,051 m — The Wide Summit
Named for its unusually broad summit plateau, Broad Peak offers a formidable yet relatively approachable eight-thousander experience.
Rakaposhi
7,788 m — Mother of Mist
A queen of the Karakoram, Rakaposhi's soaring pyramid shape dominates the Hunza Valley and is visible from the Karakoram Highway.
Batura Sar
7,795 m — Ice Fortress
Towering above the Batura Glacier in the Hunza district, this formidable peak offers challenging routes and stunning high-altitude vistas.
Legendary Trekking Routes
Concordia & K2 Base Camp
Trek through the Baltoro Glacier to the Throne Room of the Mountain Gods — Concordia, where K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrums converge.

The enchanting Fairy Meadows offer one of the world's most photogenic trekking approaches, culminating at Nanga Parbat's north face basecamp.
Deosai Plains Traverse
Cross the world's second-highest plateau, the "Land of Giants," a vast moonscape of wildflowers, brown bears and crystal streams at 4,114m.
Hushe Valley & Gondogoro La
A challenging high-altitude crossing of the Gondogoro La pass at 5,940m, offering jaw-dropping views of four 8,000m peaks simultaneously.
Shimshal Pass & Pamir Trek
Journey to the remote Shimshal Valley — one of Pakistan's most isolated communities — through dramatic gorges and high pastures at the edge of the Pamir.
Biafo–Hispar Glacier Traverse
An epic 120km glacier walk connecting Skardu to Hunza — one of the longest glacial treks outside the polar regions, through a frozen highway of ice.

From the Summits
Standing at Concordia with K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums all around me — it was the most surreal moment of my life. The guides knew every crevasse, every camp. I felt completely safe despite the wild terrain.
Fairy Meadows was exactly that — a fairy tale. The view of Nanga Parbat at sunrise, with the meadow glowing gold, is something I'll carry with me forever. The local hospitality is extraordinarily warm.
The Biafo–Hispar traverse is one of the great glacier journeys on Earth. Twenty days of pure wilderness, ancient ice and silence broken only by the occasional thundering serac. Absolutely life-changing.
